Adopted Collie Kids
Letters Back Home
#2
Dear Grandma and Grandpa,

Hi it's me Toby, I have been a real good boy and like my
new home a lot. I'm warm and comfortable (as you can see in
my picture), and eat real good. I am having fun learning how
to play with toys and have made friends with everyone
here. I went for a ride in the car last night and picked up
mommy from work, I barked at all of the people coming out
until I saw my mommy and got real excited to see her.I like to
lay on mommy's bed she has a window seat with comfy pillows
to lay on and I can look outside and take long naps.

Daddy bought us all three big pillows to lay on in the
living room and kitchen, they are soft and warm on colder
nights. Ok I better go now before dad sees me on his computer
again, last time he got mad because I was on the "Lassie" web
site to long and he said I drooled on his keyboard.

Bye-Bye,
Love Toby--
Hi...
My name is Kim and I found your web-page and must say I enjoyed it more than I can say!
Especially the swim party!!!!
My husband and I are first time collie owners.  We got our boy Ozzy after our "heinz 57" passed
away after 17 years of being in our family.  What a terrible time that was!  It took about a year until I
felt I was ready to be a"mom" again.  Not far from our home I noticed a sign advertising collie pups
for sale.  Well, one look and we were hooked.  We went straight from meeting him, to Walmart to
get what we needed to bring him home.

Ozzy has two sisters, Diamond and Chloe, whom we got to meet also.  We also had a grand 1st
birthday party for him, with 12 other canine party guests.  The pictures are great!

The folks that adopted Diamond had planned on breeding her, so of course we told them we would
be interested in a puppy down the road.  Well, sure enough, about two years down the road we
received a telephone call setting up a visit with Diamond and her parents.  But to our surprize, her
parents were divorcing - and wanted us to have Diamond!  We did'nt even have to think about it.  I
can't imagin our family without "2" collies!!!  They are the best of friends and I like to think that they
know they are brother & sister.

God bless you both for caring for the collies.  I'll check your site out from time to time.

Merry Christmas,
Kim in Worthington PA
