| From time to time we get email letters from our adopted Collie kids young and old and we JUST LOVE THEM and would like to share a few with everyone |
| to my extended family~ hello everyone!! i just thought that i would drop you a little note and let you know how i am doing. i had originally planned on going on a hunger strike but by wednesday afternoon, the taunting smell of the puppy chow was too much for me to bear and i just had to eat. the other dogs (a big one...bigger than me) wants to play and jump around the house all the time and the little one (a lot littler than me, chases me when i get too close and then the human lady tells the little dog to be nice) have pretty much be frielndly towards me. those other animals that live there, are not nice. they hunch their back and me and their fur stands up from their neck to their tail!! the human man tells them to stop. these humans put me on a leash!! can you believe it? and they expect me to walk!! they totally havent figured it out yet, but the human lady is catching on. she wont carry me up the steps any more from the outside, she makes me do it. (she showed me how the other day and now i do it on my own!) they bought me a pillow bed to sleep on, and the other day, they took me to a store where i thought i died and went to Heaven!! the scents!! the smells!! the treats!!! all for me!! it was amazing! the humans are trying to get me used to riding in the car....we go together all the time!! i cry when im in the back seat by myself, but they always pick up the girl and she gets in the back seat with me and then....im fine! have a happy thanksgiving and i hope to hear from you soon!! always geo (apollo) |
| hi everyone!! are you enjoying this cold weather as much as i am? i so love going out in the snow, when we have some and eating snow balls, they are soooo yummy! everything is going well with all of us. since the weather has been some what decent, the human girl has been taking me for walks twice a day. she gets excited because i know where to turn around at when we take walks, because she is only allowed to go so far without us having an adult with us. my mommy told me that i am going to get a brother!! she said that his name will be mulligan. but she isnt sure if she wants one that looks like me or what....(she said she is leaning towards a blue, but cannot totally make up her mind until she sees the new pups) i cant wait!!! and neither can she. she tells me everyday how much she loves me, and gives me great big hugs and rubs my ears. last night, when i got my bath, the human girl brushed my teeth. boy, was that different!! im not sure if i like that or not, ill have to try it again and see. welll, i just thought id give you all an update, talk to you soon!!! with barks, geo |
